Washington, DC – Today, the Biden administration reached an agreement with Mexico to reinstate President Trump’s “Remain in Mexico” policy on the southern border. President Biden, on his first day in office, rescinded the Trump order but several states, including Texas, sued. A judge in the Northern District in Texas recently sided with the states, ordering the administration to reverse the decision. The Biden administration then appealed to the Supreme Court, which blocked its action to end the Trump era policy. Now the administration has agreed with Mexico on terms to reinstate the policy, starting with one location and eventually moving to seven on the US-Mexico border.

Their immigration policies have failed on all fronts, and the American people are noticing, even if the media is no longer interested in the border now that President Trump is not in the White House. They remain in Mexico policy under President Trump helped curb illegal immigration, and Biden’s rejection of it for political reasons has been a disaster. It has led to the highest number of migrant encounters in nearly two decades on the border. It is fortunate for the country that the courts are forcing this administration’s hand on the issue.”
The Trump administration first implemented the policy in 2019 amidst a surge of migrants from Mexico and Central America. Though President Trump’s policies were needed to help combat illegal immigration, the media instead focused mostly on children being held to be processed. This year, border patrol agents have encountered a record 145,000 unaccompanied migrant children. Needless to say, the media has not dedicated the resources or air time to covering these record-setting numbers under the Biden administration. Biden’s puppeteers will NEVER reimplement Trump’s policy. They’ll roll out a program and call it “Remain in Mexico,” but it probably won’t bear the slightest resemblance to Trump’s original policy. Sadly, I put this in the category of “too little, too late” as far as the Biden administration is concerned. This is political gamesmanship. The damage is already done and by the time the plan is finally implemented, thousands more illegals will have crossed over to join the ranks of potential democratic voters and get dispersed throughout the land. Along with that is the matter of enforcement as the current efforts have been hindered across the board. While some may be fooled into thinking this is a real change for the better and has meaning, it’s just another attempt at appeasement.
Reinstating the Remain In Mexico now would be like calling the fire department when a building is on fire and after the building has been burned to the ground to put it out. Good and bad news in this. Please do a follow up on what demands Mexico made and the Biden Administration agreed to. There was no need to agree to any demands from Mexico as well other Central American countries. As part of this please also include the exception the Biden Administration are trying to place on who the policy will apply to. In my opinion this is a political play by the Biden Administration to appear to Migrant Protection Protocol in place under the Trump Administration, while paying off (bribing with tax payer money) Mexico an other Central American countries with foreign aid; which will be used to continue their corrupt crony political agendas. Trump had put policies in place to make them accountable for their use of US Foreign Aid it lose it. Proper implementation of asylum request, etc… They have chosen to not only allow but assist illegal immigrants to enter their country in route to the US, so why should the US agree to increase foreign aid to them.
The exceptions and exclusions being put in place also don’t conform to the Court Order to immediately reinstate the Migrant Protection Protocol!

Reinstating the “policy” doesn’t mean it will be rigorously enforced. I think this is another fake meida planting move by the Democraps to cool off some of the heat that is building up against them for their ineptitude in this situation under Biden so far.

Weaving, swerving, look out for yourself, as they have no car insurance. They walk the streets, they are on many of the corners begging for money & food. They are living under the overpasses. I hate to go to the grocery store as they hang around your car coming and going; don’t dare park way out in the parking lot or go by yourself after dark.
