You know when folks got up and walked out on James Taylor concerts because he decided to use them as a podium to be very critical of George Bush and the Tea Party and when folks began canceling their ticket orders for future concerts that was called censorship by the left and when two United Way fundraiser had to be canceled because the deep pocket folks began asking for the thousands of dollars for the tables they had bought back because Tim Robbins and Susan Sarandon were going to speak the left called it censorship and that the right was not being tolerant of the views of the other side. Now the left wants to actually enact censorship unless you are going in the same direction as they are.
I agree whole heartedly this has been a thorn in my life for some time. the same as when I bring up my faith in a conversation. They can be attacking me but when I bring in my faith then I am a bigett.
Two things currently running rampant are very frightening. Our government has turned into the thought police. In a free America, citizens can pursue and reflect their deeply held beliefs, and like Chic Fil A make business policy based on those beliefs.Potential customers are free to withold their custom from any business they do not wish to support for any reason, including their beliefs. That is the way real problems are corrected not via the government blocking free commerce.. The 2nd thing is that we have lost the ability to agee to disagree while still having civil discourse. It is bad enough that the president has chosen to be the most devisive to ever hold the office, but the persistent attacks on the Christian principles that have always been the basis for our Democracy have created an environment in which we now hear daily cries like : “Kill the rich”. Other words much like KILL with a tremendous amount of dangerous emotional power are also flung about and lionized by the so called “main stream” media. We are progressing toward a reprise of Hitler’s Germany and the upcoming election will determine whether the “Greatest Nation” survives. If we fail to overcome our apathy and vote out the ’08 mistakes, which % of American citizens will soon be wearing the modern day version of the yellow star Jews were forced to wear and will YOU be in that group???
EAT MORE CHICKEN SEND IMMANUEL OUT OF THE COUNTRY – WE ARE A FREE COUNTRY BUILD ALL THE PLACES TO EAT THAT YOU CAN—-ESPECIALLY CHICK-FIL-A
I guess if you are in any kind of business you are not allowed to have an opinion or belief
