Information We Collect
Castle Asset Management, LLC must collect certain personally identifiable financial information about its customers to ensure that it offers the highest quality financial services and products. The personally identifiable financial information, which we gather during the normal course of doing business with, you may include:
- Information we receive from you verbally;
- Information we receive from you in document form;
- Information we receive from you on applications or other forms;
- Information about your transactions with us, our affiliates, or others;
- Information collected through an Internet “cookie” (an information collecting device from a web server); and
- Information we receive from a consumer-reporting agency.
Information We Disclose
We do not disclose any nonpublic personal information about our customers or former customers to anyone, except as permitted by law. In accordance with Section 248.13 of Regulation S-P, we may disclose all of the information we collect, as described above, to certain nonaffiliated third parties such as attorneys, accountants, auditors and persons or entities that are assessing our compliance with industry standards. We enter into contractual agreements with all nonaffiliated third parties that prohibit such third parties from disclosing or using the information other than to carry out the purposes for which we disclose the information.
Confidentiality and Security
We restrict access to nonpublic personal information about you to those employees who need to know that information to provide financial products or services to you. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to guard your nonpublic personal information.
Solicitation Disclosure Statement
In accordance with the provisions of Rule 206(4)-3 of the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 (“Advisers Act”), this information is being furnished to you to disclose certain important information about the relationship between Castle Asset Management, LLC (the “Adviser”) and RoseMark Advisors, Inc. (the “Solicitor”).
Nature of Relationship
Adviser and Solicitor have entered into a written Solicitation Agreement whereby Solicitor is compensated to introduce prospective investment advisory clients to Adviser. Notwithstanding the aforementioned contractual relationship, Solicitor and Adviser are not affiliated with one another. Clients introduced by Solicitor will be required to enter into separate investment advisory or other agreements directly with Adviser.
Client understands that Solicitor is not responsible for rendering investment advice or providing recommendations and shall bear no responsibility or liability of any kind as a result of any action, or failure to act, at any time by Adviser.
For the term of your advisory relationship, Adviser will compensate Solicitor with a percentage of the investment advisory fees that are received by them to the Solicitor. The solicitor fee paid by the Adviser to the Solicitor may change in the future. This will not impact the fee charged to the client by the Adviser.
Matthew graduated from Boston University with a Bachelors degree in Finance in 2005. He joined Paragon Food and Vending LLC directly out of school and was quickly promoted to the level of CFO. During his tenure he generated the highest profit margins since the company’s inception. In 2010, Matthew was the primary negotiator for the company’s sale to Compass Group, a worldwide leader in the food service industry. Matthew spent the next year consulting for Compass to facilitate the efficient acquisition of Paragon. In early 2011, he joined Castle Financial Advisors, LLC and Castle Asset Management, LLC where he uses both his knowledge of business and finance to serve his client’s needs. Matthew also resides on the Board of Directors of J&L Property Investors, a real estate development firm with assets over 75 million dollars.
John D. Caffrey, Jr. CFP®
John Caffrey, CFP® certificant, has worked in the financial services industry since May of 1985. He is a graduate, Cum Laude, from the State University of New York Oswego with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and a Minor in Economics.
John is the owner of Castle Financial Advisors, LLC and Castle Asset Management, LLC an independent, SEC regulated investment advisory firm. He has dedicated his career to furnishing a full range of services and products with a proven record to his clients. Thorough and innovative, John has helped hundreds of professionals, high net worth individuals and business owners attain financial independence.
John is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certificant. He received his designation through study with the College of Financial Planning in Denver, Colorado in July of 1988. John is a member of the Financial Planning Association. He is a registered representative of Purshe Kaplan Sterling Investments. John is one of the Founders and currently sits on the Board of Directors, of Empire National Bank, located in Islandia, NY. He currently lives in Hauppauge, NY with his wife Laura, his son’s Ryan and Tyler and daughter Victoria.
