Banana Split Pie

1 – 9 inch prepared chocolate crumb pie crust
2 bananas – sliced
3 cups strawberry ice cream – softened slightly
1 – 20 oz. can of crushed pineapple – well drained
2 cups frozen whipped topping
¼ cup chopped walnuts
¼ cup chopped maraschino cherries – patted dry

Arrange bananas over the bottom of the crumb crust. Spread ice cream in an even layer over bananas. Top with pineapple. Completely cover the pineapple with whipped topping. Sprinkle with walnuts and cherries. Freeze for 3 – 4 hours. Serves 8.
