Wheaton College joins court challenge to Obamacare interpretation of religion -
BOHEMIA, NY, July 20 – “The Bill of Rights is under attack but a determined army is gathering in its defense, bolstered this week by Billy Graham’s Alma Mater, Wheaton College,” said Dan Weber, president of the Association of Mature American Citizens.
The Wheaton, Illinois-based institution announced Wednesday that it was joining the Catholic University of America in the Washington, D.C. District Court to oppose “the Obamacare mandate that dictates what a religious institution can and cannot do,” the AMAC chief stated.
“Freedom of Religion is the very first right granted us by our Founding Fathers and now the President seeks to challenge it. He would impose his own interpretation of religious principles. What’s next, Freedom of Speech,” Weber asked.
“Wheaton College and other distinctively Christian institutions are faced with a clear and present threat to our religious liberty,” Wheaton College President Dr. Philip Ryken said in a news release. “Our first president, the abolitionist Jonathan Blanchard, believed it was imperative to act in defense of freedom. In bringing this suit, we act in defense of freedom again.”
The provision in the Affordable Care Act in question requires Wheaton, Catholic University and all other such institutions to provide contraceptives, sterilization and abortion-inducing drugs to employees and students, no matter what their religious convictions demand,” Weber explained.
“It’s preposterous and, perhaps, the most serious challenge to our basic rights and personal freedom since the American Revolution. That’s why two dozen suits have been filed thus far challenging the law.”
In addition, Alabama Attorney General Luther Strange has filed a motion to intervene in the court challenge. He said the law forces Alabama to regulate its health insurance market in a way that violates both the U.S. Constitution and the Alabama Constitution. As he put it, “Alabama law does not allow anyone to be forced to offer a product that is against his or her religious beliefs or conscience” said Strange.
Weber noted that the Association of Mature American Citizens “has been in the forefront of this fight right from the beginning.” He said that “our members have told us that it is important to them. Many are concerned on religious grounds, but many more fear the erosion of all of our rights as granted in the Bill of Rights.”

I am a member of the Ohio Election Justice Campaign, we audited 56 of our 88 counties and found considerable fraud in most of those counties. We have the evidence and put it before federal Judge Marbley, he refused to rule on our evidence, saying we did not have standing. If that fraud continues in this election, and it is not only Ohio, but many states, then what do we do to makes sure this coming election is fraud free. We must have a fraud free election to elect good and honest people to stop the abuse we now see in the U.S.A. What would be so difficult for picture ID’s to be issued when someone registers to vote? The Department of (In)justice claims that the poor minorities are being discriminated against, but you need picture ID to apply for food stamps and welfare. Who does Holder think he’s kidding? He showed his true colors right from the start when he dropped the charges against the Black Panthers who intimidated the white voters in Philadelphia.
What alarms me, is the number of Christian people who seem to put the political party ahead of what God teaches us and the freedom that He gave us originally here in the United States! How can they be so blind about what is happening now! Let’s not just complain, but let us pray daily for God’s will to be done for our government as well as for all of us in the USA and the world. There are so many issues with this president that even with TV commercials Romney can’t talk on all of them. We need to do our part and make everyone around us aware. We need God back in our country!
History has recorded how socialism/communism has taken away the rights of peoples throughout the world. History has also shown how a small group of socialist can destroy a country. Hitler and stalin are examples of what can happen to a country, when persons of that caliber are elected to the highest offices of a country. Prior to communism in the former Soviet union, only 5% of the people wanted it, However, communism was incorportated into the government and military and the people didn’t have a choice. The same thing is happening here in America and we, the people, must take charge in November. We must remove Obama and the liberals from the congress and senate. If we don’t, we are doomed just as Germany and the Soviet Union was.

I’m seriously thinking of selling up and moving back to the Rockies, because I think the people of the mountains and plains will revolt against this governmental takeover of every moment of our lives, but people in the Northeast and West Coast are either cowards or they’ve been drinking the Kool-Aid.
Many of those on the West Coast and Northeast have been bought and paid for through Obama’s policies, payouts and executive orders — illegals, welfare/food stamps, unions (how many unions were exempted from the health care act), green projects that cost billions and failed, and the list goes on.

Americans have observed what the Obama administration has done and is doing to our nation. We must do all we can to preserve our freedoms. We have a mandate as never before to pray for our country. Taking away an employee’s right to family planning is an infringement of their rights and freedoms. Mandating that employees have AVAILABILITY to birth control protects their rights. Can’t you see this? Aren’t we still free to choose?

Christians choice NOT to furnish birth control, or abortion, or after pills to people who use little judgement for their own sake. Women all thru the ages controlled their own fertility, some women didn’t and had 10-12 children and died young. Those today that have more than 5 children choice to do so, and have the option to abort paid for thru government benefits free.
If you choice to have birth control available you should also pay for it yourself and not demand others to pay for your desires not to have any more children or control the amount children you have. There is also vasectomy if your married and your man agrees to protect you that way or tubes tied both are reversible if you decide later to have children. By the way birth control pills cost as little as $10.00 a month, beats what I had to pay in the 1960s $25.00 out of my own pocket, there was no such thing as company healthcare, or becoming dependent on the gov. we had too much pride. We made it on our own and budgeted our small income to cover all expense, delivery of my son hospital (we paid doctor and hospital pre-delivery) bill and BC pills after.

Unfortunately, our Bill of Rights has already been overrun. Refer to the Patriot Act and the National Defense budget act. Both already give the government the right to search and seizure against American citizens. So what rights really remain with us. We need to stop this President and clean house in Washington. The erosion of personal rights granted by God and set forth in our founding documents has been dramatic in my lifetime.
The nature of man is not a lofty one, and the Founders were well aware of this hard truth. Man’s lust for power has always been present, especially in governments. Today we are faced with the personification of that lustful nature. He resides in the White House and his name is Barack Obama. This coming November the 6th will be a test of our nation’s desire to either cast a vote for The Bill of Rights, or cast a vote against. Perhaps at that final moment when the personal decision is made, God will show himself and convict the conscience of those Americans who are wavering.
Our rights are in peril as long as that koran reading socialist is in the White House. Our founding fathers we ould be leading the revolt!!

When I was in school grades 1 – 12 there was Bible reading and Prayer before school started. Since that has been removed from our public school system, the concience of our young people can’t determine right from wrong and lots of them think God doesn’t exist. Get prayer back in our schools and Government. Elect God fearing people back into our Government.
Our rights are not granted by the government, they come from God. Our founding documents state what our rights are and that the government can’t infringe on them, though they have for decades. The Founding Fathers did not grant us rights, they defined what our rights are.
